Groundbreaking Arabic Hip Hop Artists Live at WASLA

Where: On42, Media One Hotel, Dubai Media City

When: Thursday 13 December

About: Live Nation Middle East and WASLA come together host the region’s most talented Hip Hop artists. The event celebrates Arabic hip-hop music. It will feature lyrical masterpieces and insane beats from regional hip hop talent including Karrouhat, N3rdistan, El Rass and Moqata’a, a preview for what’s in store at the WASLA Festival in March 2019. Jamaican Sensation Shaggy Playing Live at Base

Where: Base Club, Dubai Design District

When: Thursday 13 December

About: Shaggy is ready to bring his ‘bombastic’ energy to BASE Dubai. The reggae icon is set to inject LYFE into BASE’s dance floor with an electrifying performance on Thursday. The American-Jamaican superstar will perform his multi-platinum hits such as Oh Carolina, Bombastic and Angel and get the crowd grooving with complimentary drinks for ladies till 2:00 am.

Seven Sisters Sunset Brunch

Where: Seven Sisters, JW Marriott Marquis, Business Bay

When: Friday 14 December

About: This relatively renew venue offers a fresh concept to Dubai’s brunch scene. First of all, it’s in the evening with gorgeous sunset views of the new waterfall of Dubai Canal. But, the best part is the vibe. Packed with Hip Hop and RnB, this event screams London street style with Dubai class. 

Sing Along at a Christmas Concert

Where: Dubai Opera, Downtown Dubai

When: 13-15 December

About: Returning for a third year, Jingle Bell favourites will run from December 13 to 15 at Dubai Opera, with a line-up of classic sing along carols and festive family favourites across morning, matinee and evening shows. Just don’t be surprised to be dancing in the aisles by the end of the show to hits such as Jingle Bell Rock, Frosty the Snowman, and Baby It’s Cold Outside.

See Enrique Iglesias Dance on Water

Where: The Point, The Palm Jumeirah

When: 4pm-3am, Friday 14 December

About: Latin pop legend Enrique Iglesias will be jetting into Dubai on December 14 performs at new Palm Jumeirah destination, The Pointe. The Hero hitmaker will take to the custom-built overwater stage at 9pm, although events will kick off from 4pm. He was last here in 2017, as a headliner for the Dubai Jazz Festival.

Where: Global Village

When: 9-11pm, Friday 14 December

About: American singer-songwriter-dancer Jason Derulo is set to perform at popular theme park Global Village on December 14. The Swalla singer will take to the main stage as part of an end-of-term concert. Entry to the gig is included in the Global Village ticket price, which is just 15 dirhams.
