Meet The Comics

Alfie Brown

Described as ‘Quite simply the future of British stand-up’ Alfie Brown is the hottest young talent to hit the Laughter Factory stage since they opened 23 years ago this month.

The UK Comedian’s style has been forged from years of pushing boundaries and experimentation.

He has a natural stage presence, explosive material makes that produces a thrilling piece every time he takes the stage.

Brown is constantly evolving and innovating with hour-long idea driven shows to tight sets in various clubs effortlessly.

Look out for introspective thoughts and considerations of the human condition as well as wider observations on social-political issues. Brown does this in an accessible and hilarious way.

Greg Morton

Greg Morton took first prize in the, ‘So You Think You’re Funny Contest’ which marked the beginning of his stand-up comedy career. Being the voice over for twenty Saturday Morning cartoons, the former mobile disc jockey, who used to play songs at weddings, now sings song parodies on nationally syndicated radio shows, like the Bob and Tom Show.

Since his two minute Star Wars mash-up on Just for Laughs and Comedy Central, Morton has gone on to entertain audiences worldwide opening for stars like Celine Dion and Luther Vandross at Radio City Music Hall.

Fern Brady

Not just an exceptional comedian,  Fern Brady wrote the sitcom ‘Radges’ for the BBC3 Online Comedy Feeds and has also performed Stand Up on numerous TV shows. 

She’s made appearances on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, Live from the Comedy Store, the Russell Howard Hour, Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience as well as Viceland’s new series Brexit Stage Left. God.

Before making a breakthrough on the comedy scene,  Fern was a Guardian award-nominated journalist and has also spoken about topical issues on Radio’s 4’s The Today Programme.
