Tekashi 6ix9ine Pleads Guilty
The New York Rapper now faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 47 years with the possibility of reductions for cooperation but according to The Washington Post, he could face a life sentence.
Hernandez reportedly admitted to criminal acts including robbery, selling a kilogram of heroin as well as ordering the shooting of a rival gang member.
He told the court last month:
“At all times I knew that these actions were wrong and in violation of the law. I apologize to the court, to anyone who was hurt, to my family, friends, and fans for what I have done and who I have let down.”
In November 2018, the rapper was taken into custody alongside his associate, 36-year-old Kifano “Tr3yway Shotti” Jordan as well as 8 other alleged members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. The charges related to racketeering dating back to 2013.
Tekashi 6ix9ine Admits To Serious Allegations
A month prior to the arrest, 6ix9ine admitted to producing and distributing sexually-explicit content of a 13-year-old girl in 2015.
Another man who featured in the video was sentenced while 6ix9ine was given four years of probation as well as 10,000 hours of court-ordered community service.
Hernandez’ sentencing date is yet to be set.
