Dubai’s thriving culinary and nightlife scene can be a tough cookie to crack, each year hundreds of new venues open and close their doors in our city
We realize that sadly all good things must come to an end, some too soon in our opinion but don’t despair – some have even bigger and better plans up their sleeves.
Here are some of the venues bidding farewell
After just 15 months of being in operation, Beefbar Dubai, the steakhouse concept owned and operated by Flavio Briatore and Riccardo Giraudi, will be moving away from its current location in Al Fattan Currency House for an undisclosed venue next year.
The brand also announced that it will be launching its first international Leafbar concept which will be aimed at vegetarians and vegans!
Gaucho Dubai, the Argentinian steakhouse concept in DIFC is also bidding farewell. The venue will reportedly be rebranded – this comes after its acquisition by Addmind Hospitality Group.
Addmind group CEO Tony Habre recently told Arabian Business that
he will be spending between $2-$3 million to refurbish and rebrand the concept!
We look forward to seeing what comes next.
Some huge names have performed at the French superclub, Gotha. So, we’re sad to see this venue call it quits.
The club, which originates from Cannes, had 47 VIP tables and was world renowned.
We not quite sure what will replace the venue, but we’ll probably know soon enough.
Girders Garden Dubai
Girders Garden, the bar at JA Ocean View Hotel in Dubai, has also closed its doors. A new sports bar concept will reportedly be taking over the space in June.
The Caterer recently reported that the new concept will be making use of its 200-inch screen and 8 other big screen TVs to show everything from UEFA cup finals to Wimbledon and F1!
That sounds good!
See, it’s not all bad news!
