Brooklyn rapper, Pop Smoke, was reportedly shot to death on Wednesday morning at a home in the Hollywood Hills. He was just 20-years-old.
Pop Smoke was at a residence in California around 4:30 a.m. when two masked men gained entry into his house sources told TMZ. Multiple shots were fired.
The rapper was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead.

A rep for Republic Records, to which the rapper was signed, said the following:
“We are devastated by the unexpected and tragic loss of Pop Smoke.Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family, friends and fans, as we mourn this loss together.”
Reports say that Pop Smoke revealed the address to the house in a recent social media post, however it appears to have been taken down.
Pop Smoke’s Whirlwind Career
Known for singles “Welcome to the Party” and “Dior,” Pop Smoke also released his first mixtape “Welcome to the Woo” in July 2019 and has collaborated with artists including Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott.
Just this month, his second mixtape ,”Meet the Woo 2,” was released and debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. The rapper was scheduled to begin a month-long North American tour on 2nd March and then perform in England in April.
Pop Smoke Was Arrested In January
In January, the star was arrested at the airport on a charge of transporting a stolen vehicle over state lines just hours before he was scheduled to perform at a concert.
The rapper, who had just arrived in New York from Paris Fashion Week, pleaded not guilty and was released on $250,000 bail the same day.
