News just in that R Kelly will reportedly be filing a court motion requesting permission to travel on a private jet, to perform in Dubai.
R Kelly is currently forbidden from traveling after he had to surrender his passport due to an aggravated sexual abuse case.
ABC News reported that the motion will refer to 3 to 5 shows that will take place between April 17 and 19.
Kelly’s lawyer is expected to argue that his profession requires him to travel outside of the US in order to earn an income, which he needs to pay his living expenses, legal fees as well as child support.
R Kelly Concerts In Dubai?
It sounds like the concerts will be private, as there have been no promotions or announcements for any performances in Dubai.

R Kelly Faces Charges
R Kelly currently faces 10 counts of criminal sex abuse for the alleged abuse of four women – three of whom were reportedly under the legal age of consent at the time and place of the incidents.
Kelly’s attorney Steve Greenberg recently stated that Kelly’s expenses were increasing as a result of his legal troubles:
“If you can’t play a show, if you can’t go out on tour, [and if] they’re not streaming your music anymore, obviously you’re going to have financial problems,”
We’ll have to wait and see how this pans out.
