GIN, the Los Angeles based female artist, released Spiritual Bars this September to maintain the true essence of the hip-hop genre. Her album aims to bring back the raw expression of hip-hop merged with consciousness, which brought about the name Spiritual Bars.

This artist, who grew up in East Los Angeles, and followed her love for hip-hop by starting in the industry as an events promoter and talent booker, working with artists like Kxng, Crooked, Chino XL and ONYX.

Inspired by Truth and Relationships 

GIN’s debut single “Truth” featured Mystic Butterfly and motivated by staying true to her relationships. And, this single has seen its tour of the night club scene here in the Middle East.

Her more recent singles have been on radio rotation in Seattle, Washington and in Austin, Texas, while her latest single is “The World” featuring Komo Sarcani from Paris, France doing a French verse. The music video was shot in Paris and pays homage to Legendary Rapper, Nas.

Spiritual Bars is an international album which includes features from Komo Sarcani (France), BDM (Durban, South Africa), Chris Cape (UK) and Mystic Butterfly (UK). GIN has also created a Zine Book for the album Spiritual Bars, which is available at Zine Fests and through her bandcamp website.
