The Green Room opened its doors last month offering some live jazz music to serenade its guests at Dubai’s own jazz club. 

The Quintessential Jazz Club

Jazz has come in and out of fashion, but will always be beautiful. The Green Room proves that. This pop-up jazz club is located on the upper level of Galvin Bistrot & Bar at The Square in City Walk. While Dubai plays host to some of the greatest DJs in the world, this location offers listeners a welcome change of scenery with live instruments serenading tunes of jazzzz.

November’s Line-Up Has Something For Everyone

Tuesday, 20 November features Afif Trio. This 3-piece band is famous for their smooth tunes and past performances at Java Jazz Festival and the Dubai Jazz Festival.

Wednesday, 21 November hosts Zero Funks. It’s a 5-piece band based in Dubai, UAE, playing some original Funk, Soul, Jazz and R&B.

On Thursday, 22 November, Jooles & the Blue Light Collective will feature female vocalist and saxophonist, Jooles. Accompanied by a pianist, the dynamic duo will serenade with soul, old blues and jazz classics.

And Friday, 23 November we’ll see Take 3 on the stage.

On Tuesday, 27 November, Samvel Gasparian Trio performs, having already been on the stages of 2014 & 2015 Blended Music Festivals.

From 28–30 November, the top Jazz talents in Dubai are set to perform live at the Green Room.

The Green Room Concept – A Passion For Jazz

The Green Room is a concept by John Gillespie and Adam Long, both with a huge passion for jazz. The two friends met when John booked Adam to play saxophone for an event. Ever since they’ve worked together on numerous projects and events and have now teamed up to present Green Room.

“A jazz club for jazz musicians”

Opening times are Tuesday-Friday, 9pm-2am.
