J Balvin, the Colombian Reggaeton singer, was confirmed to perform at Yas Island’s brand new indoor venue, The Arena on 5th September as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week.
The inaugural seven-day fight-and-fitness-themed festival will be featuring a series of nightlife and entertainment events as part of the event. J Balvin was supposed to be one of the acts.

J Balvin who is known as Reggaeton’s global ambassador is one of the top streaming music artists in the world, despite the language, he is literally pushing Latin music to unprecedented worldwide prominence.
Contestants who won tickets to the J Balvin performance via a competition with Team Virgin Radio Dubai received a message earlier today stating that the performance has been cancelled.
The organizers have now confirmed the show has been cancelled and all ticket holders are entitled to a full refund which will automatically be refunded to the card account.

J Balvin Chart Topping Hits
The singer topped the Global Top 50 on Spotify with his hit ‘Mi Gente’, before collaborating with American rapper Cardi B and Bad Bunny on the #1 hit ‘I Like It’ in 2018.
Thanks to his variety of collaborations, Balvin has collected 16 #1 Billboard hits and over 20 billion YouTube views.
He has also been the #1 global artist on that video platform for the last six weeks!
