Dubai will be the 7th city that will have the honour of hosting a huge global festival which is aimed to end poverty and take a stand against climate change.

The festival will be a 10-hour music megathon, which will take place across six continents.

Global Goal Live: The Possible Dream

The festival will take place on Saturday 26th September 2020 in Dubai, New York City, Seoul, Lagos, Europe as well as Latin America. Other locations will be revealed soon.

Thus far, we know that the global festival will see performances from artists which include Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Lizzo, Pharrel Williams, Usher, Cyndi Lauper, Muse, EXO, Metallica, Shawn Mendes and more.

At this stage, we are not sure which of these hugely popular artists will be performing here in Dubai, so watch this space for further announcements. Hosts for the global festival will include Katie Holmes, Trevor Noah, Idris Elba and Hugh Jackman.

Global Festival Coming To Dubai

The aim of the festival is to call on governments, corporations, philanthropists, as well as citizens of the world to take action towards ending poverty and taking a stand against climate change.

The organisers behind this event, claim that its possible to end poverty in the world’s poorest countries, if an additional $350 billion is secured every year, for the next 10 years.

We are looking forward to be part of this!
