Thursdays at Soho Garden mean only one thing: the ace Together For the Music party which features some of the best in melodic house and techno DJs in the world.
And March 5 features none other than Ukranian duo ARTBAT.
Made up of Artur and Batish (you can see where the name comes from now), the duo have blown up in the past five years, becoming one of the biggest names on the scene.
Their music is regularly played by Solomun, Richie Hawtin and Tale of Us, while they’ve had countless Beatport chart-topping releases.

We also got to chat to ARTBAT recently… this is what they had to say:
Artur and Batish, you’ve both had established musical careers prior to forming ARTBAT, which has certainly made for a fast-rising reputation. How easy was it to adapt and perform together as a duo?
First of all, thanks for having us. It’s a pleasure. Performing and adaption was pretty easy to be honest. From day one we went with the flow and we both have the same visions.
When we are each others biggest critic. That counts in the studio and also behind the decks. We have a lot of fun together.
How, as a duo, do you remain innovative in terms of creating new sounds together?
We both come up with different ideas and the combination of it, is what makes it special. It’s always important you are one step ahead. Which is never an easy process.
Most importantly you need a fresh mind (and that’s not easy with our touring schedule). You got to be very focused and determined.
What’s the most memorable moment you’ve ever experienced in music?
There is so many to be honest. We’ve have had a lot of memorable shows in the past 24 months. But probably the most outstanding was our gig for Cercle atop Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio De Janeiro.
Everything was just perfect. The vibe, the audience, the weather and of course the location. A moment we will never forget and will always be very proud of. That was an honor.
You’ve both performed in many different destinations. What has been your favourite location, event or destination to perform in?
It’s another difficult question to answer. We can say that we love to play in South America and the Middle East. Always love to come back there. There’s always something special wherever we play.
Crowds are unstoppable and the vibes are outstanding. But in summer we love to be in Europe and play Ibiza for example, which is a special place to us, and all the big european festivals of course.
Can you tell us more about your plans for the next few months? Do you have any new collaborations coming up or destinations that you can mention?
There’s a lot of new music coming up. We can’t tell you too much, but there’s some really interesting collaborations in the pipe. In may our long anticipated collaboration with Camelphat is going to be released. We are booked for some major festivals all over the world. Excited to play Ultra Music Festival in Miami or Creamfields UK for the very first time. Tons of exciting things. We are going to keep you posted.
With a busy schedule almost all of the time– what do you two do to unwind?
Spend as much as possible time with our family and friends. That what gives us the most energy and motivation.
You’ll be playing in Dubai soon. What are your thoughts on the Dubai music scene?
We love Dubai and always love to come back. As mentioned earlier, the Middle East is always a special place to be and play at. Super excited to play at Soho Garden. We’ve heard about the venue a lot from our DJ friends.
Make sure you are going to be there this Thursday as we have a lot of new music to test…..
