Now, here’s something awesome!
A video game app for mobile is launching the first ever DJ culture game has as a free download.
MIXMSTR is the creation of Youth Control Games which focusses on the culture and lifestyle of DJs and others who are involved in the clubbing scene unlike other virtual DJ apps, which solely focus on the more technical aspects of DJ’ing like mixing.
The purpose of the game is to make money by buying records and building your record collection in order to become a ‘better’ DJ and up your DJ skills.
As you become more popular, your star will grow and you move up from playing at local pub gigs to headlining at the biggest virtual clubs featured on the app.
A Fun Game About DJ Culture
Timo Juuti, CEO of Youth Control Game says:
“There are already too many virtual DJ apps on the market. Instead, we wanted to make a fun game about DJ culture and the clubbing scene we love.”
In the game, players can select music made by real producers and released by real labels for their DJ sets. Adding the rhythm action gameplay option also allows players to control their characters’ sets.
