Deadmau5 has finally posted a track from his forthcoming Polar film score, titled “Midas Heel”. It’s now out on Spotify.

The original version named “Drama Free” was released in an adapted version. It was in collaboration with Lights. Although it was never officially released, Deadmau5 dropped that version from his debut film score. Finally, it’s been replaced with the version you can listen to here. 

The Man Behind the Mask

Deadmau5 hails from Canada as a prominent electronic music producer, DJ, and musician. He produces a variety of styles within the progressive house genre and sometimes dabbles in other forms of electronic music. His works have appeared in a variety of compilation albums, including as Tiësto’s In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza. Additionally, his tracks have also been presented on Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance radio show.

The artists has received six Grammy Award nominations for his work. He’s worked with artists the likes of Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire and Wolfgang Gartner. Additionally, he’s done collaborations with Steve Duda under the group name BSOD (Better Sounding On Drugs). He was also  part of the group named WTF? with Duda, Tommy Lee, and DJ Aero. In 2007, he founded his own record label, Mau5trap. Deadmau5 is currently one of the highest paid electronic music producers in the world,[3] and is a masked music artist similar to Marshmello and Daft Punk.[4]
