As the coronavirus continues to spread all over the world, Event Organisers have been obliged to put measures in place to prevent the spread of the virus.

Flight routes have been suspended and borders have been closed in various parts of the world and with this an increasing number of major events expecting high attendance have had to be cancelled or postponed.

Here in the UAE, it’s been no different. Here are some of the public entertainment events in and around the UAE that have been affected:

Ultra Festival, Abu Dhabi

So many were looking forward to Ultra, which was due to take place in Abu Dhabi’s Du Arena this past weekend. But sadly it was cancelled. The event was highly anticipated with huge numbers of people expected as it was the first Ultra event set to take place in the Middle East.
