South Korean boy band BTS will be presenting at the 2019 Grammy Awards!
Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook are reportedly going to present an award at the 61st Grammys on February 10th.
Variety first reported on Monday that it will be the band’s first time doing so at a Stateside event yet we still don’t have confirmation of what award the group will present.
Not only is it their first time presenting, it will mark BTS’ first time in attendance at the Grammys.
BTS Nominated At The Grammys
The boyband’s Billboard 200-topping album Love Yourself: Tear has been nominated at the Grammys in the best recording package category.
BTS’ Suga (Min Yoongi) previously shared the group’s interest in attending the Grammys.
When they appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in the fall, the host asked what goals are left for the guys to accomplish and Suga said, “Go to the Grammys.”
So it looks like their goal has been accomplished!
BTS is up against four other albums at the Grammys:
- Mitski’s Be the Cowboy
- St. Vincent’s Masseduction
- The Chairman’s The Offering
- Foxhole’s Well Kept Thing
Alicia Keys will be hosting the 61st Grammys and it will be broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and air on CBS on Sunday night.
Cardi B, Janelle Monáe, , H.E.R., Brandi Carlile, Shawn Mendes, Kacey Musgraves, Dan + Shay and Post Malone with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Miley Cyrus are all lined up to perform at the Grammy’s , so be sure not to miss it.
