1. “OUT OF THE BOX” – TECH TALK
The rumors are true! There’s a limited edition piece of gear at Melody House (Gold & Diamond Park) that The Boxtones lead guitarist Gary has been drooling over for quite some time now. The Dream Theatre riff-master John Petrucci has a limited edition head from Mesaboogie and this guitar rig packs a mighty punch! Don’t be afraid to try it out and hear for yourself…but be warned, you’ll want to take it to your next band practice! (and it’s even on sale…dun dun dunnnnn)

2. “MUSIC BOX” – POTENTIAL NEW ALBUM COMING SOON
Now here’s something we thought we’d never write about! Lead vocalist Brian Johnson has reportedly confirmed that there’ll in fact be a new AC/DC album on the horizon! Various members of the band – including Brian and Phil Rudd – were spotted around The Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, Canada where they recorded their last 3 albums. But will we hear some featured recordings of the late rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young? Can’t wait to hear it for the first time!
3. “JUKEBOX ” – LOCAL GIGS TO CHECK OUT
Seeing as this is a rock-themed edition of Boxtalk with The Boxtones, we can’t help but remind you of the list of multi-talented acts at Hard Rock Café, Dubai Festival City.
This star-studded venue starts the week off with an eclectic acoustic performance from Leanna Kerry & Adrian on Sunday, a night of bluesy vibes from Carrie Gibson every Monday, and your mid-week loop master Adam Baluch every Tuesday. Then warming up and closing the weekend are the best power trio in town, Big Mouth (Wednesday and Saturday), and of course, can’t forget yours truly on Thursday and Friday nights from 8:30pm onwards! With all of that live music everyday, it’s a wonder why we all don’t just move into Hard Rock Café!
