The Amsterdam Dance Event or ADE is basically the gateway to the international electronic music scene, as its the world’s biggest club festival and Europe’s leading electronic music conference.
ADE takes place in Amsterdam every October and hosts over 1000 events throughout the city. Last year, the festival welcomed 400,000 festival visitors from more than 100 countries in 140 venues!
This year’s edition will be taking place from Wednesday, 16th October until Sunday, 20th October.

ADE’s festival program covers the whole spectrum of electronic subgenres, along with more than 2,500 artists performing in 140 of Amsterdam’s finest music and nightlife spots.
The Amsterdam Dance Event is known to bring in the crowds with established names on the line-up together with a list of rising stars. The playlist is always diverse and as a result features electro, acid, techno, trance, house, hip-hop, drum ‘n’ bass and more.
Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto ,Nina Kraviz, Jamie Jones, Ricardo Villalobos, Marcel Dettmann, Seth Troxler, Âme, David Guetta and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are some of the big names who are part of the ADE 2019 lineup.
Each year, the Amsterdam Dance Event is not just a festival as it also presents the ADE conference, which has a number of streams and sessions covering every aspect of the music industry.
The conference is a platform for serious dialogue and debate giving delegates the chance to network and keep abreast of the latest developments in the electronic music field.
