Lou Reed and Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello have leant their support to the Occupy Wall Street campaign,
a worldwide movement against income inequality. They gave their support to Occupy Musicians, a website which aims to co-ordinate performances at Occupy sites and showcase works by the signatory artists.
The big name signings come just a few days after it was revealed there would be a benefit album in the near future, featuring Crosby & Nash, Devo, Third Eye Blind, while renowned documentary maker Michael Moore is also lined up to sing on the album. The organisers hope to raise up to $2million to help fund their movement which has been running since September 17. |
