It could be one of the biggest gigs of the year as Indian composer A R Rahman plays live at the Sports City Cricket Stadium on Friday December 9.
The two-time Academy Award Winner and part-time member of Superheavy, Mick Jagger's supergroup, has sold more than 150 million copies of his work, sold albums in dozens of different languages and provided the soundtrack to Slumdog Millionaire. And he'll be joined on stage by world-renowned percussionist Sivamani and 'Jai Ho' singer Shweta Pandit on the night. Tickets start at Dhs100, and doors open at 5, show starts at 9pm. |
