With January traditionally a quiet time for events, it seems Dubai's promoters are cramming as much in as possible during December.
And a huge chunk of that is taking place on Friday December 9, it seems. Already confirmed are Creamfields (with the Infusion tent, no less), while Peppermint have confirmed that minimal house legend Luciano will be playing their grand return, while electro-RnB star Chris Brown is pencilled in to play at Festival City. But adding to the mix is the news that A R Rahman, the hugely celebrated Indian composer and musician is starting his world tour in Dubai at Dubai Sports City on Friday December 9. Perhaps best known for his work on the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, he's also a member of Mick Jagger's supergroup Superheavy alongside Joss Stone, Damian Marley and others. |
