It might have been coming for a while now, what with Kele's solo and DJ career, but the band have confirmed that they sacked Kele, and not the other way round. The 'Helicopter' and 'Banquet' stars were spotted heading into a recording studio without Kele, prompting him to wonder if he'd been axed from the band. And his fears were confirmed when Bloc Party announced that they were auditioning for new lead singers and looking to record a Kele-free new album.
