News has reached us that the London Olympics next year will be partially soundtracked by Mark Ronson and Katy B after the pair were commissioned to write the theme song for the games. And they've gone to fairly unusual lengths to get their material: Ronson has been taping microphones to athletes and recording their grunts and training sounds. Ping pong star Darius Knight has a 'very unusual grunt,' Russian runner Kseniya Vdovina has her breathing sampled while Mexican taekwondo star Maria Espinoza is recorded 'kicking the crap out of somebody.' And the size of the occasion seemed to register with Ronson: 'You have one shot, one song, it has to be great.'
