It seems only yesterday that we were telling you about the new Tecom club crawl (actually, it was last issue), but there's been yet another influx of new clubs, venues and generally fun places for you to spend your free time. First up is Magnum at the Jumeirah Ramada Hotel in Satwa. Named after the super-size bottles of alcohol, we presume it's going for a high-end crowd, and with a playlist of chill out to hip hop to funky house, it's certainly going for a mainstream crowd. It's open from 8pm-3am, and we'll bring you more after the official opening. And not to be outdone, the Metropolitan Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Rd has opened The Sky Garden (see artist impression). A sumptuous open-air space, Fridays play host to Chill, with classic hip hop and RnB on the decks, and brunch and drink deals until the early evening, it's perfect for a pre-club tipple or just for a quiet night under the stars with friends.
