We brought you the sad news in the last issue that Freshly Laced, our favourite low-key hip hop, funk and bass music weekly night had come to an end after a year. But never fear, good music fans, for they've split the night into a few separate entities - Deep Crates continues every Thursday at Casa Latina from 9pm, with Lobito (pictured) serving up a funky, fresh platter of hip hop and B Boy breaks, while DJ Solo has set up a new monthly night, Dust at Trilogy, alongside disco deviant Megadon Betamax. So 2 for the price of 1, essentially - and the good music continues, more importantly.
