David Guetta unveiled details of new single 'Where Them Girls At' this week and revealed that he's collaborating with US popstars Flo-Rida, Nicki Minaj, Taio Cruz, Ludacris, will.i.am and Akon on his sure to be mammoth upcoming (and 5th) studio album. The French pop DJ recently remixed Snoop Dogg's track 'Sweat' to thunderous acclaim, though was this week understood to be annoyed after rabid fans managed to get hold of early versions of his next hip hop collaboration; rumoured to be with 50 Cent. 'Dear hackers I understand you are having fun and I respect your computer genius,' he said in a Tweet, 'You should also respect my music, don't leak ruff ideas,' he demanded. Guetta's all conquering commercial success came some two years after fellow pop star P Diddy accused DJs of killing hip hop in an increasingly prescient assessment of the state of mainstream club culture. 'People have figured out the formula when they make records for radio, and DJs ain't DJs no more. 'DJs don't break records no more. DJs don't play album cuts. DJs play what is going to move the crowd.'" the Bad Boy Records billionaire and Ibizan afficionado complained to MTV.
