Four decades after his songs came to soundtrack anti-war protests in Vietnam, Bob Dylan played his first ever concert there, to a half empty venue in Ho Chi Minh City. As in China, where Dylan played the week before, government officials had to vet his setlist ensuring that protest classics like 'Blowin' In The Wind' and 'The Times They Are a-Changin' were left out in favour of more recent songs. But while Vietnamese fans of Dylan were happy about the show, The Human Rights Watch said Dylan should be ashamed of himself as Dylan had "a historic chance to communicate a message of freedom and hope, but instead he is allowing censors to choose his playlist."
