Following on from The Streets and an acoustic show from Starsailor's James Walsh, the Livin' The Music series continues with hotly tipped UK synth-pop duo Hurts. Voted as NME's best new band, the duo — best known for breakthrough hit 'Wonderful Life' — bring their 80s sound and equally retro stage look to The Irish Village on Thursday May 19. Tickets are a rather steep Dhs225 (especially considering the recent line ups in Dubai), but if you're after some authentic and brand new music, it comes highly recommended.
