The promo video claims the latest Traktor version is going to be creative, addictive and intuitive, and if the first reports are anything to go by, the T2 will more than live up to the hype. There are new visuals, colour coded beats (so hi hats are distinct from bass drums) and the looping is now tighter than a state-controlled bank. The most impressive new feature are the sample decks, however, as virtually any sound can be uploaded and triggered essentially allowing you to make music on the fly. Traktor 2 hits shops on April 1 and prices start from $99.
