Remember Pinocchio and that scene where he's led astray to Pleasure Island. Looked ace didn't it [Erm, not sure about that - Responsible Parenting Ed]. Well, it exists. No really. About 1000 miles from here, and nestled in a far corner of what was Russia lies the Kazantip Republic in the Ukraine. The annual festival is now in its 19th year, and is literally a month-long celebration of dance music, hedonism and everything in between. Beginning on July 30 and ending on August 27, it's been described as, and we quote from the press release, 'summer all year round' and 'life without pants.' What's a bit clearer is the line up: Above and Beyond, Fergie, M.A.N.D.Y and literally hundreds more play at the various stages across the month. It's essentially Ibiza gone mad.
