Just a few months since it closed, London superclub Matter is to open for business at the start of 2011. Run as the sister club to the legendary Fabric, the 3 room club was kitted out in a state of the art body kinetic soundsystem, and hosted some truly impressive line ups. But its location on the outskirts of central London, and problems with connecting public transport, meant the club closed at the start of this summer, with many fearing that its debts would drag Fabric down with it. But AEG, the company that run the 02 - in which Matter is housed - have stepped in and taken on the club, and promised it will open next year. We'll keep you posted.
