Ed Banger Records chief and erstwhile Daft Punk manager Pedro 'Busy P' Winter chatted to Infusion this week about his astonishingly successful career and revealed that as well as following his enthusiasms and doing pretty much exactly what he likes, he's also totally non competitive and focused. "The absolute key for success is being patient," Pedro also suggested, "Although we're living in a fast world, it's essential to keep cool and relax and take some time and to wait for the right moment for things to happen." Quitting law school after three months both to concentrate on managing then unknown contenders Daft Punk and 'to party', he turned Daft Punk into France's biggest superstars since Jean Michel Jarre, going on to set up Ed Banger in 2003 (while he still managed Daft Punk). Snapping up then (relatively) unknown contenders Justice as one of Ed Banger's first signings, he also promptly turned them into global megastars and has since signed a stable of younger acts including DJ Mehdi, Sabastian, Feadz and Mr Ozio.
