Nervecell’s 2009 show schedule concluded on December 21st on their return from Sri Lanka, following a successful year of touring in 17 cities in 8 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The band played a total of 23 shows in 2009 (only 5 took place in their hometown, Dubai), of which consists 7 headline spots. 11 or nearly half of these performances were part of music festivals, including Wacken Open Air’s 20th anniversary, With Full Force, Desert Rock Festival to name a few! They were on the road twice this year as part of 2 European tours, which led them to striking a record deal with Lifeforce Records Germany, where the album Preaching Venom was officially released on October 26th. They also featured in an episode of Twenty Something, with a live performance and interview of Nervecell, which aired in December on Dubai One.
