Dion Mavath's album Warrior wins top 10 battle! |

Dion Mavath, the man at the heart of Dubai’s house music for the past eight years and a favourite amongst party-goers across Dubai’s burgeoning club scene, has battled his way into 10th spot in the Virgin Music UAE Top 20 Chart with his debut album WARRIOR. Only in its second week of release, Warrior has reached the number 10 spot in the widely respected Virgin Music UAE Top 20 Chart, out-performing such internationally renowned acts such as Lady GaGa (11th), Robbie Williams (12th), Leona Lewis (14th) and recent UAE performers The Killers (15th). And international recognition for the 34 year old artist is set to explode as the world’s biggest house music label, Defected, launches Dion’s “Keep on Loving Me” track globally this week. Dion says, “I always hoped that my music would be well received, but you always have a nagging doubt in the back of my mind that no-one will like it and that pushes you harder and drives you to have faith in what you’re doing!”
